All
signs say spring is here. Robins sing from the trees in bursts of
song. Daffodils and tulips poke from gardens in bright flashes of
color. The weather is the sort of uncannily comfortable that erases
memories of snow storms and ice. Soon, though, summer will be here
and with it heat, the same heat that can make many a coffee drinker
decide to opt for iced coffee.
Green Mountain Coffee has heard the cry of
Keurig K-Cup coffee system-owning iced coffee fans and answered
with their line of Brew...

cup coffee systems, have struck a deal with Starbucks to continue
manufacturing Starbucks K-Cups and Tazo Tea K-Cups.
Starbucks released their own single cup coffee maker called the
Verismo, prompting many Keurig system owners to worry about the
loss of access to Starbucks coffees and Tazo Teas in K-Cups. The

K-Cups
often receive the criticism that they are wasteful in terms of
trash production, a
claim that Keurig has refuted in terms of proportion of waste
produced per capita. Certainly, Keurig has heard the criticism.
Their new Vue single cup coffee maker uses #5 recyclable plastic, a
plastic being recycled in more and more communities across North
America every day, in its inserts.
However, many single cup coffee consumers still feel the need to
find ways to reuse or repurpose spent K-Cups in...

definition of large.

as the espresso extraction standard. Now, Keurig K-Cup coffee
system owners can enjoy true European coffeehouse-style at home or

review a coffee that is certain to delight fans of dark roast K-Cup
coffee. This brew is dark and mysteriously complex, and though we
once had to trek to a Starbucks café to have a single cup of this
dark coffee, Starbucks Verona Blend Coffee is a blend of Starbucks
Yukon Blend and Starbucks Italian Roast that combines Indonesian
and Latin American coffee beans. It is available for brewing at
home, recently having been added to the Starbucks Coffee K-Cups

Quick thinking on the part of a Dunkin’ Donuts employee and
minimal thinking on the part of a would-be crook has taken the
Internet by storm. A failed robbery and hot coffee used in
self-defense make for good water cooler chat, and this Dunkin' Donuts robbery story has it all.
Quick thinking heroism, dumb criminals, and our favorite beverage
standing in as the weapon that vanquished the criminal.
The scene opened on the Dunkin’ Donuts drive through window seen
from the vantage of a security...

roaster across the nation.

the time drank their coffee at eight o’clock in the morning or

A
distinction appears, even with a mild perusal of community
chatter, in the single cup coffee drinkers of our coffee
community. Tassimo reviews on our site show some who enjoy the
convenience of single serving brewing clearly prefer their
Tassimo machine, and they have their reasons.
Others, just as passionately, hold their Keurig brewer dear as is evident in their
impassioned reviews of various Keurig machines and K-Cup
coffees.
While the two camps may seem to be a civil war amongst...

When it comes
to single serving tea brewing, the community is divided between
those who love the ease and convenience provided by T-Discs and
K-Cups and those that feel some finesse is lost when tea is put in
individual serving pods and brewed through a single cup coffee
maker. For today’s post, we are not going to debate the merits of
analog tea steeping versus digital single serving tea brewing and
instead focus on which single cup system is best suited to meet
your tea drinking desires.

Starbucks has
announced their new single serve coffee maker, the Verismo, and
many are wondering if Keurig will soon have a serious competitor
for their Keurig K-Cup systems. The truth of the matter
though is that the Verismo is more similar to the Tassimo T-Discs coffee makers already on the
market. While Keurig holds much loyalty in the single serve coffee
maker market, the Verismo may well give Keurig stiff competition
thanks to the mass brand recognition of Starbucks.
The Verismodoes not...

I was not much
of a fan of flavored coffee before Keurig came along. I was leery
of buying a pound of coffee that I may not like, and generally, if
I wanted to flavor my coffee, I turned to a flavored creamer or a
flavored syrup, feeling that either one was less of a
commitment.
Thanks to Keurig though, I’ve embraced flavored coffee K-Cups. Really, flavored coffee
is not all that different from adding flavor after the fact. The
flavors that one enjoys in creamer or syrups are simply applied...
