The only indication of any ingredients (on the box) is that it contains 100% Arabica Coffee. I guess to be on the safe side, I'd contact the manufacturer, Diedrich Coffee, Inc. at 1-800-354-JAVA or check it out on their website: coffeepeople (I'm not allowed to include links to other sites).

I just checked the box for the ingredients and all it says is 100% arabica coffee. You could call the company Coffee People directly at 1.800.354.5292 to ask them. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and we have been ordering this coffee for over 2 years. He never has mentioned anything about the coffee altering his sugar level. I know everyone is different. I applaud you for being vigilant with your diabetes care. Good Luck! Mar 15, 2013
Yes, that's what I do and it's just perfect for me. It's an extra bold k-cup so brewing it twice does not make it weak. If you like very strong coffee it might not work for you. Give it a try...I hope it's perfect for you. Mar 15, 2013
We store our K cups on an open shelf near our coffee maker and have never had a problem with them. We take no special precautions in storing them, but would advise to keep them out of direct sunlight and out of the flow of an air source such as an open window or an air vent. Apr 16, 2013
