Not Enough Taste, Too Watery
For a K-Cup with so much saturated fat, the taste of this product is weak and watery like many others have said.

Weak
If you make it on a small cup setting it's not too weak; however, for a large cup, it's too watery and doesn't have a very strong chocolate flavor.

Was O.K.
This hot chocolate was O.K. but certainly no better then the normal packaged hot chocolate. it was watery to me. The only way i could make it taste a little better was to add a little milk in with it after brewing.

The Best H.C. I ever tasted
I love the K cup coffee and decided to give hot chocolate a try..This is n ot as sweet and as overpowering as the packaged kind sold in sup0ermarkets. It is clean to brew and discard the cup, it takes seconds to make, and the beverage is hot. My 11 year old granddaughter loved it..

In my opinion, this is the suggested manufacturer's date of when their product will still be at its peak flavor. My experience is that this date is normally very
conservative. The reason for this is that the manufacturer has no control over its storage conditions once it is out of his hands. Therefore I consider as long as the packing is intack, no damage to the product, it will be satisfactory for a longer period of time than its "Best By date." This is the same logic I use in the supermarket, where "Best By date" is also used on most food products. When it is my home, I control it storage and use. I do have a policy to use the oldest first and try to rotate my coffee/food supply. I hope that this all makes sense to you and helps! Feb 27, 2013

Green Mountain discontinued this item last year, and the remaining stock we have left has a "Best By" date of December 2012. Drinking the product beyond this date is in no way harmful, it just may slowly lose some of its flavor over time, which is why we sell it at a discount.

It looks like it has a use by date which is usually 1 month or less prior to current date. There is nothing wrong with the expired hot cocoa. Remember they are vacuumed packed so no air gets in it
