Rated 4 out of 5 by Use the small cup setting like it says! My wife loves coffee, but I dont. So I love the fact that there are Hot Cocoa K-Cups. It was one of the main reasons I chose this coffee making system, so we can both enjoy what we like with the ease of using the K-Cup. I love the flavor of the Hot Cocoa but it can be weak if you use the larger cup settings. Follow the instructions and use the smaller cup setting and you will be happy! January 3, 2008
Rated 2 out of 5 by I don't care for it. Something isn't quite right with this hot chocolate. It tastes very artificial and not chocolately. I'm not sure if there is an artificial sweetner in it, but it sure tastes like it. It has a very odd taste to it. The first time I had it I thought it tasted funny because I hadn't stirred it. That wasn't the case though because the second time it tasted the same. Unfortunately, I got a whole box of it free with my Keurig. Don't buy a whole 18 or 24 pack. If you want to try it I recommend buying a 5 pack or sampler. January 2, 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by Smooth and delicious I like this hot chocolate because it's not overly sugary sweet. I use the smaller-cup setting to make sure it's chocolatey enough. Also afterwards, I run the extra water cycle through once as the box recommends to make sure the sugar residue doesn't linger for the next cup of coffee or tea. While the Ghirardelli packets are richer-flavored, they are not quite as convenient. December 31, 2007
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hot chocolate Loving the ease of using my Keurig, I was excited to see the hot chocolate available. I found the Green Mountain not very rich in taste. Even adding whipped cream didn't help the watery taste much. December 26, 2007

A shopper asked: Why does it say expired? Feb 17, 2013

Florence H: Rather than "expired", the box is marked as "Best By date."
In my opinion, this is the suggested manufacturer's date of when their product will still be at its peak flavor. My experience is that this date is normally very
conservative. The reason for this is that the manufacturer has no control over its storage conditions once it is out of his hands. Therefore I consider as long as the packing is intack, no damage to the product, it will be satisfactory for a longer period of time than its "Best By date." This is the same logic I use in the supermarket, where "Best By date" is also used on most food products. When it is my home, I control it storage and use. I do have a policy to use the oldest first and try to rotate my coffee/food supply. I hope that this all makes sense to you and helps!

CustomerService: Green Mountain discontinued this item last year, and the remaining stock we have left has a "Best By" date of December 2012. Drinking the product beyond this date is in no way harmful, it just may slowly lose some of its flavor over time, which is why we sell it at a discount. Feb 18, 2013

Vernon M: It looks like it has a use by date which is usually 1 month or less prior to current date. There is nothing wrong with the expired hot cocoa. Remember they are vacuumed packed so no air gets in it Feb 28, 2013
