Fantastic!
We have enjoyed our Keurig B60 for 3 yrs. We first experienced it at a friend's house who had done much research on 1 cup coffee makers. We then bought one for ourselves. Since then, we know of 4 friends who experienced ours and bought one, and we ourselves have purchased 5 as gifts for family and friends. My parents thank us regularly for the delight they experience each time they use it (everyday)!
These machines sell themselves! The Keurig company has been excellent to work with also whenever there have been questions.
I enjoy hearing the "hum" while brewing and the aroma is inviting. Coffees, teas & hot chocolate are all delicious......a completely wonderful experience whether enjoying alone or with family & friends!

loved it
I first saw this product at my Uncle's in Arizona. Then he bought my mother who lives in Pa. one and then I bought my husband one and we live in Alaska. It sure is getting around. The only problem here is we do not have the k-cups...yet. I can't wait for Christmas, he will love it. It is fast and the coffee tastes the same every time.

Convenient but coffee is so-so
I like to have a coffee smell permeate the house in the morning. My B40 does not do this at all. As the coffee goes into the cup, it looks watery and transparent. Because there is little smell, there is little taste. It is as if the temperature is too low.
I love the convenience and lovely design but the main job of a coffee maker is to give a great coffee experience and my B40 fails miserably at that.

I LOVE this coffee maker
My sister has one of these wonderful pots, and a whole drawer full of the K cups. I really enjoy having a fresh cup of coffee when ever I want. I just wish she would let me take it home with me when I leave

It makes good cider and hot chocolate, however I am a bit of a tea snob. :-) That said, it does fine with the Keurig style K-cups for tea, but for good tea, you really should use leaf tea seeped at 200 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the type of tea.

I would even be willing to pay for a "service contract" if we could get warranty service or replacement as needed.

I have had plenty of problems with the past 2 b-60 brewers. Upon dis-assembly of those units I was able to find the problem with them. It has nothing to do with descaling or hard water. The problem I found on both machines is a check valve that goes up to the brewer needle. On both brewers the valves were clogged with coffee grinds. The dis-assembly is quite involved to get to that valve. There are videos on the internet that walk you thru it. Look on youtube. All the machines come apart in a similar matter.

After my second Keurig machine went belly up I bought a Bosch tassimo. I have had no problems with this coffee maker at all. My second Kerurig machine didn't even last a year. It was so frustrating. Keruig has such a nice selection of coffee but they make a crummy coffee maker. I love my Bosch disc coffee maker. I have had it for two years with no problems.

I can't beleive you are having a probelm. The one I have at home we have had for three years and the reason I purchased it was because we have one at work---a minumum of 50 cups a day and its 4 years old, you must just have bad luck.

I've only had my Keurig for 3 months, however, it is working GREAT. My recommendation is to leave it on all the time. never turn it off. I used to own a coffee shop and the turning on/off of the heating element is what caused the most damage. we were told never to turn it off and it lasted YEARS. so I am following the same advice on my Keurig. Good luck

I have 5 brewers and anytime there has been aproblem I simply email Keurig and they are more than accomatidating with sending me anew brewer.So far they have replaced 3defective machines ...try this and good luck

I had a Keurig B40 and like you, mine lasted about 1 year. The B40 is a very cheap model. I would suggest upgrading to the B145, which is a more "commercial" model. The mechanisms are more solid and in many places where plastic parts are used in the B40, there are metal parts in the B145. I've had the B145 about 3 months now and I am very happy with it.
I chose the B145 because we had a B145 where I work and it lasted well over a year making 20 to 30 cups of coffee per day. We ended up replacing it with a commercial unit that has water plumbed into it. Mar 1, 2013

I would LOVE to say only GOOD things about a Keurig Coffee maker..... but, they are NOT dependable. I have had 3 in a few years......... there is no way to get them REPLACED, only repaired? I purchased one for Christmas 2012 for a friends FROM Coffee for Less, and I called to have it replaced: was giving a number that NO LONGER works....... to call for techinal support...... so, after THIS batch of K-cups are used...... my gift will hit the trash. SAD, very... very sad.
