The Best!!
All I can tell you is that this coffee has a good strong flavor. It is not bitter at all. It has a very smooth very solid coffee flavor that I love to wake up to. Nothing else will do anymore. Coffee for Less delivers it within a day or two so I just wait until I pour the last bit into my machine and ta da it is here. The price is also great so who could ask for more?

This coffee tastes good, and that's what counts!
Yes, it's Kenyan coffee, and West African coffees are my absolute favorite. I feel like I got more than my money's worth. Here are my only reservations: 1. Many of the beans look all splintered up and broken. (That might not mean anything re. quality.) 2. My last purchase of Kenya AA coffee was from a local roaster, who literally finished the roast 20 minutes before I came. When I ground these into my AeroPress and doused them with water, they bubbled up in a dense foam, like some freaky volcano experiment. This behavior decreased, but remained noticeable for over 2 weeks. In contrast, even the first brew from these Lacas beans was simply dead under the same conditions. The flavor was also correspondingly duller, but still very good. 3. I would have felt better if I saw a fair trade sticker on the bag.
Despite these reservations, I have to feel good about this purchase. I would have been paying a lot more if I bought them locally, and the quality difference is noticeable only if you simultaneously brew two cups and compare. It makes me happy to think about how many of my mornings will be improved by the contents of that huge yellow bag!

Great Taste - Excellent Value
I recently ordered my first 5# bag of Lacas Kenya AA, as Cub Foods no longer carries Kenya AA, my favorite. I poured out about a pound of it into a smaller container (for use) and sealed the rest in the 5# bag, storing it in my basement refrigerator. Lacas' Kenya AA is smoother, yet more robust than the Kenya AA I had been purchasing. The aroma of the beans is absolutely captivating! I only keep canned and bottled beverages in my basement refrigerator so, whenever I open its door, I am welcomed by the awesome aroma from the beans. I ordered enough to get free shipping so the price per pound is less than Cub. Better coffee, cheaper price and delivered to my door. You just won me over as a new regular customer!
