Lipton Tea Indulge Rich Black Tea K-Cups 24ct 4 5 1 1
Good taste This tea is a mellow black tea, without the bitterness you get from steeped tea. My daughter uses a lot of it and wants me to only buy this kind. She even takes it with her when we travel hoping that the hotels will have a k-cup brewer. March 20, 2014

Kim K asked: Does this tea taste like the original tea bags? Nov 2, 2013

Julia A: I would have to say no, it doesn't (unless there are "Indulge" tea bags). The original Lipton tea bags are just good black tea. I used to use them for sun tea, but now I use leaf tea and an ice tea maker. I buy these k-cups for the times when I'm too lazy to make a whole pitcher. I almost never drink hot tea, so consider that in your decision. This tea I really like. It's a full-bodied black tea that works well for iced tea, and it has a fairly noticeable flavor of vanilla (at least that's what it makes me think of). It's very smooth and rich, which is probably why they call it "Indulge." If you like flavored tea, you'll probably like this. I definitely prefer it to the classic Lipton bags. Mar 20, 2014

Audrey S: No, It does not taste like the regular Lipton black tea. I believe that it tastes like there is a hint of vanilla added to the tea. It is not sweetened, however the vanilla hint gives it a slightly richer flavor. I didn't like it at first, but pushed it since I had bought a full box, and I didn't want to waste them. Now I enjoy it, and often it is my first choice for my morning tea where previously I preferred plain black english breakfast teas. Mar 21, 2014

Bob E: Hi Kim, the answer to your question is yes, absolutely! In fact i put half a pack of sugar and a drop of milk in my cup before i hit the brew button. This way it's already mixed and ready to go with no mess of a tea bag or need for a spoon. Hope this helps your decision on trying the Lipton K-Cup......Bob Mar 20, 2014

Gerard D: It tastes like your basic tea to me, but be aware that I'm not a tea connoisseur by any stretch. I got these mainly as an option for guests and the occasional drink for myself. They suit me just fine on that rare occasion I get a taste for some tea rather than coffee. Mar 20, 2014

Bridget W: No, it has a slight caramel undertone, but it has quickly become my favorite tea, and I like it better than regular tea now. It is very similar to the taste of regular tea, just a little different, if you prefer your regular tea get the sweet tea. Mar 20, 2014

Michelle M: I love brewed tea (unsweetened) from tea bags and I am not a fan of this. I think it is very bitter. I tried making the kcup strong and also weak and I didn't like either version. I will not buy the kcup Lipton again. Mar 20, 2014

Norma W: We find that it does. Our machine has 3 cup sizes so I use large for a milder tea Hubby uses small for a stronger tea, poured over ice it makes a good ice tea. Hope this helps Mar 20, 2014

Madonna J: The k-cup tea is mellower than tea bag tea. The tea from the bags has a little more bitterness to it. Hope this helps. It is very good tasting tea. Mar 20, 2014

Valerie M: My husband, who is Irish and a big tea drinker, doesn't care for it. He said it's very mild to the point of being flavorless. Hope this helps :) Mar 20, 2014

Laine H: My husband drinks this tea and he love it! We have tried many other K-cup tea brands and he feels this is the best one with the richest flavor. Mar 20, 2014

Christine M: Per my husband - Yes, If you use a small cup setting, you get a richer flavor.
Using the larger sizes gives you a milder tea.
