This has become a favorite of my wife and I from the Melitta line. Very good.

I have a Hamilton Beach The Scoop 2-way coffee maker. It makes a full carafe or a single cup on the side. I wanted to know which coffee pods to use in the single cup side?The manual says to use either Senseo or Melitta pods. I would prefer to use the Melitta but don't know if all Melitta pods will fit.

I will first say, I have purchased the melitta pods, but for use in my Senseo machine. They work to a certain extent. The melitta pods are a little thicker than the senseo ones are. In my senseo machine, I really have to press down on the lid when using melitta pods. When I use senseo ones, I can just close the lid and press the lever down with little effort. If I don't add the extra pressure when closing when using melitta pods, it will leak.
If the space for the pod in your machine is not very large, then I would go with senseo pods for no issues. If it is a bigger space, then the melitta ones should work too.
The melitta ones do make some great tasting coffee. Hope this helps. Apr 1, 2013

I don't have a Hamilton Beach but have had no problem using Melitta pods in my coffee maker. I have even used regular sized tea bags in it, too. I have ordered coffee pods from different companies and different brands and they all fit in mine. I really like all the flavor choices that Melitta has.

I use the Melitta pods, and they fit perfectly. Coffee for Less offers a variety of flavors, both in de-caf and regular, at reasonable prices. I found the selection of Melitta pods was perfect for needs. I think you will like them, as the clean-up is easy, and recycling is easy as well.

As far as I know there is only on Melitta pod size and they fit many makers. There are press releases from Melitta in 2012 that state their pods fit Hamilton Beach makers (also Senseo).

I HAVE USED THESE IN A SENSEO AND A BUNN POD MACHINE WITH NO PROBLEMS. NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE HAMILTOM BEACH MACHINE.
