The lack of qualified art teachers in NYC schools, from elementary through high school, is troubling.

419 schools in New York City (28%) lack even one certified art teacher, including 20% of all high schools, 22% of all middle schools, and 38% of all elementary schools.

OUR MISSION

Arts For All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts. Through Arts For All, professional artists work with youth organizations to build self-confidence, self-expression, teamwork, resilience, and creativity in children.

CoffeeForLess is proud to support Arts For All, with proceeds from all our Purple Bag coffees from New York Coffee going to promote creativity in New York City's youth.

Music is about communication, creativity, and cooperation, and by studying music in schools, students have the opportunity to build on these skills, enrich their lives, and experience the world from a new perspective.
