Living alone, I have been using single cup coffeemakers for a few years now. For the past year, I have used this Senseo Delux and it makes the BEST coffee IF I don't use the Senseo pods. I find their pods much too weak.

I like a large mug of fresh coffee every morning and using the Millstone French Roast pods, I am able to use a single pod to produce first a double cup and then a single cup brewing into my mug. It is rich and delicious - while the Senseo pod used this way makes a watery, weak, tasteless cup.

I love the frothy coffee. My son and daughter-in-law have an expensive single cup brewer that uses the K-cups. When they were here, drinking my coffee, they decided to give their coffeemaker away and replace it with the Senseo.

If I have any complaint at all - I wish I could press the "On" button, and then the "Serving Size" button and walk away - as it is, I have to wait for the "On" button to stop blinking before I can select the serving size.

Initially, I was using Senseo pods in another, non-Senseo machine. It worked well, but was still lacking something. I decided to upgrade to this machine and am I ever glad I did. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this unit. It brews a fantastic cup of gourmet coffee
with that unique frothy layer. Top quality machine that produces top quality coffee.....I LOVE IT!!
