I could not agree more with the other reviews saying this tea tastes... weird. I think it's the Splenda flavor - I strongly dislike the taste of artificial sweetners and use sugar, honey, and agave to sweeten my drinks. I have also found that the milk pods for Tassimo have a strange flavor so I wonder if the Chai tastes "off" due to the sweetener or the milk, or both. Either way, I poured the first cup down the drain after a few sips and threw the rest of the package away. Maybe if you like Splenda it would be okay...?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Thoris Warning: Contains SPLENDA
My husband and I just purchased a Tassimo Suprema machine, and were quite pleased with the Gevalia Cappuccino. So, we were excited to be able to try the Twining's Chai Latte. I wish that we had read reviews about this product before we purchased it, because we were sadly disappointed. Immediately after tasting it I commented to my husband, "Um, weird. It tastes like it has Splenda in it."
Neither of us wanted to believe it because we assumed that if it DID contain Splenda the package would have been clearly marked. My husband tasted it too and agreed that it tasted like Splenda. I took the wrapper out of the garbage and read the ingredients. The very last ingredient on the list: Sucralose. We were severely disappointed - we really dislike the taste of Splenda. We could barely finish our drinks.
Why Twinings made their only Chai Latte option for Tassimo with artificial sweetener I will never understand. It would make sense if there were two options - regular and "low calorie"... but right now this is the only Chai Latte option for the Tassimo machine...
Can I have some real sugar in my latte please?
